BOOK INDUSTRY TREATISE ON RESPONSIBLE PAPER-USE

The Treatise on Responsible Paper-Use sets attainable and measurable goals for improving the social and ecological footprint of the book industry. It was developed over a 5 month period with the perspective and participation of publishers, mills, printers, merchants, and others.

By working to achieve the goals defined in the Treatise, signatories are committing to work both individually and collectively to make meaningful transformations within the book industry.

Treatise Leadership Council A Leadership Council is guiding the Treatise implementation process will oversee future content revisions. The current Council consists of:
